Kevin built this custom cross frame with matching Easton fork for his wife, Sue. They wanted to do an orange and blue fade, and match the fork to the front end. Kevin said he had built only a few frames, but this one showed up looking pretty good.
We started with a bright orange base color.

To help make the orange more pearly without wrecking the blue we added some inner-coat with a pretty steep ratio of gold pearl.

Next, we make the fade with the blue. A nice medium metallic blue.

And paint the fork to match.

Kevin wanted to add this number to the frame, his wife's number from college.

We will get some clear on it and post the final pictures tomorrow.
