We just, I mean just, got this brand new Trek bike from Wheat Ridge in Denver as a promo for the Venus de Miles ride in late August. Check it out at
http://www.venusdemiles.com. We got a graphics package and everything, and after seeing the headbadge, I was a little intimidated, but I think it turned out well. The colors are awesome, it's a nice layout, and we are glad to help out with thier fundraiser.
Here is how it started out.

First we have to remove the old logos and seal the original finish. It's almost impossible to totally "strip" carbon frames, so we just clean them up and paint over what is there after removing logos and whatever paint work that we can.

Then we can put down the white sections and mask over that as we go.

Then we can start masking off for the panels and the lilac color.

This is the headbadge I was worried about. In hindsight, it was nat nearly as bad as I thought it would be, just took some extra time weeding.

This series of masks creates the outlines and panel stripes.

After the stripe masking, we can put down the lilac color.

After the masking comes off, here is what we have. We just have to patch in some logos, and then it is off to clear.

Oh, yeah, the fork to match.

The final product, nice and flashy. One of a kind.
